I have become a fan of Korean movies and I remember watching "Tae Guk Gi". I thought that movie was up to par with "Saving Private Ryan". Has any seen the two recent Korean war movies:

"MY Way" and "Front Line".... Any thoughts?

The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia.

It was a nice break from the West Wing.

After watching all available episodes of Breaking Bad with Bryan Cranston, we switched to American Horror Story with Jessica Lange. Watched about 8 episodes back to back last weekend. Both are top notch in my book. Wish network tv series were higher caliber like these cable tv shows.

New Year's weekend: Five or six episodes of "Midsomer Murders" and "Mirror Mirror."

Fun.

Lars and the Real Girl

Very well done. Its such an odd topic that would just beg to go wrong with too much cute, too much lewd humor but they managed the delicate balance of a little funny, a little sweet, a happy ending. Nice.

If only people pulled together like that in real life. WWJD indeed.
