I'm really looking forward to the movie. But I was very underwhelmed by the trailer. Just plain not a very good movie preview.

I saw this and am exited. Huge kaiju/Sci-fi fan. Can't wait to see it. I have fond memories esp of Godzilla and his giant mutant friends as a kid.

The first screening just happened in Burbank with a rough cut of the film. General consensus is the movie is outstanding, one of the best summer flicks in years.

The plot along with the voice-over in the trailer says to me the story is a great tribute to the old-school films but has a more serious tone.

I cannot imagine what an experience it will be to see in IMAX.
