^^Not sure if that is what you're insinuating, but again, this creature is NOT Mothra. It's a kaiju original to the Legendary movie. Mothra has had a villainous undertone in some movies though (In Godzilla Tokyo SOS, she threatened to destroy all of humanity just because a few scientists built Kiryu using the original Godzilla's bones; I believe the original Mothra movie also had the creature going on a rampage).
It is NOT Rodan. It's a new Kaiju called 'Hokmuto'. Look it up. Legendary could only afford to buy one kaiju from Toho and that was obviously Godzilla.
Easy, Hawaii, watch the blood pressure. Just show me he link where you got your info. I can admit I'm wrong.

I will go see this during the day, it will be really rowdy on opening night esp here in the Big Apple.
They do, I downloaded it from PhoneZoo last winter and set it as text alert. I had to stop using it after about a week though, as every time I got a text I jumped 10 feet, lol.
True. But part of me is wondering if they're setting up a surprise. From the clip they've posted online, it's obvious "MUTO" is an acronym given to the beastie by the US military. It wouldn't surprise me if at the end of the movie the characters find out the Japanese have named Muto "Rodan." They'll get a few cheers for that.
Anyway, doesn't really matter. We'll know for sure in less than a week.

Exactly. They aren't revealing all their cards. The flying whatever looks a lot like Rodan. We'll just have to see the movie to find out for sure.
It may or may not be. I would'nt take "published" reports to heart. They're not showing all their cards. One thing's for sure, we'll find out when we see the movie.
