Looked like Rodan, But did not have the same pterodactyl like body. Maybe it's the new version of it. I know the other kaiju is a bug like monster.
For sure this film is going to be a hit, And a sequel and likely new franchise will begin. It the film is good it would be great to see Mothra, the Smog monster, Gigan, And even Mechagodzilla and Jet Jaguar back in the future.

I would love to see that, but only if it has the tiny singing Polynesian twins. They were great, classic!

I loved all the old Kaiju movies back in the day. Godzilla went from the bad guy to the good guy, and fought off most of them. This movie looks pretty good.
I love Godzilla. LOVE Godzilla. My all time favorite movie monster. Don't know if I can watch it though if they end up killing him. Cant stand the movies where he dies. They need to make it like the ones we watched as kids where he defeats the bad monsters and saves earth. THOSE were the great Godzilla movies I know and love. Not the heartbreaking ones where he dies.
Hope he lives and the sequel brings us the great and legendary Monster Zero, also known as King Ghidira. Would LOVE to see the new "updated" version of Monster Zero.
