TITLE SHOULD READ:

Do you like movies or just movies that are released commercially?

Some people don't like to watch independent film, just what's out in theaters, which one are you?

I like independent film, commerical movies are predictable, not to say that some are not good...

Most movies are truly predictable if you think about it. I don't mind commercial films and quite frankly they are mostly my collection. It's not that I don't like indies but the main one I saw The Wrestler was predictable. I don't have anything against indie films, it's just harder to track down for me in AZ and I follow AMCi (AMC Movie Talk's Indie specific show) it's just by me the theater options are pretty limited. When I lived on Long Island, I had about 4/5 theaters in the driving distance to one and more options for indie films in those theaters.

I love all kinds of movies, and people that bemoan large movie releases crack me up. They look for any and every reason not to like them. The last three movies I watched were "Interstellar", "Mockingjay Part 1", and the small release indie film "Under the Skin" starting Scarlett Johansson. I enjoyed them all and all for different reasons. I have an incredible home theater in my house with huge screen, projector and high end sound, so I get the theater feeling even when watching indies at home.
