A real classic, I watch every time it's on TV.
Before VCR's my best friend taped the audio of it on a cassette,
we'd listen to it over and over again, very funny stuff.

My fave is Dick Shawn as the surferdude Sylvester on the phone with Ethel Merman.
I like when digging he says to Jonathan Winters character, "Out baby, you're buggin' me"
Winters says, "Who's calling me baby"
I like when Winters goes crazy and destroys the gas station.
Phil Silvers was great too. Especially when he counts an extra share for himself.
Jim Backus with Hackett and Rooney bit in the plane is hilarious.
Lot's of cameos too, even a very brief one by Jerry Lewis.

The Stooges playing firemen and just standing with no speaking part.

This is making me want to watch it some time this week!
Another good one, sort of the same feel to it, is "The Russians Are Coming The Russians Are Coming!"
Carl Reiner, Eva Marie Saint, Jonathan Winters, Alan Arkin, Brian Keith,
The Russians Are Coming the Russians Are Coming (1966) - IMDb
It's not the madcap adventure that It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World is, but it's definitely campy and witty.
And another one that reminds me of that movie, for some reason, is What's Up, Doc?

And one very hot-looking John Philip Law.

The movie is 3 hrs long & well worth it. Lots of stars from the 1960s.
