Awesome movie when I first saw it. Watching it now, though...with my "movie snob" hat on, it ain't all that.

But Robocop will forever have a special place in my heart and a top 20 action movie of all-time for me.

It was a studio film with studio meddling. The end result was a snoozefest, although I'd hesitate to say that it was an awful movie. Jose Padilha has directed much better movies and series.
