Yes and no.

Most of them (remakes) S-T-I-N-K--but I'm willing to give it a try/view.

Part original RoboCop, part Terminator and part I, Robot.
I don't give a rat's what anyone says, the original was awesome, even the sequel.
Cannot top Peter Weller, he had the face and the voice. This new guy, whoever the heck he is, cannot fill his shoes!
Despite the solid supporting cast, this will be a rental for me! Not worth the matinee $$.

Been a hot movie topic. I will watch it. I found have found most remakes/reboots to be mediocre, Though a few have been well done, Like The Thing, The Hills have eyes, Dawn of the dead and a few others. The original Robocop achieved cult status for it's humorous commercials and religious allegory. Let's see how this one goes.

"I will by that for a dollar"!

There was an episode of "Sledge Hammer!" that parodied "Robocop".

Sledge became a cyborg crimefighter and called himself "Hammeroid".

YAY! There are times visiting my youth is a joy, sounds like it should be a really fun time for the young at heart.

Didn't Red Forman get doused in toxic waste in the original and then run over by a car?
