The original Star Wars trilogy was the closest thing in my upbringing to religion. Same with Back to the Future, and the Indiana Jones movies. I was 12 when the Matrix came out and that blew minds at the time.
The Lion King (first movie I remember seeing in a theatre...well, I'm not sure. It's between that and Snow White)
