LOL! The TV trailer of the original "The Blob" had exactly the same effect on me. I don't know why I didn't simply turn the channel...I just flew out of the house as soon as it came on. And I've never seen the film.

Everybody should agree that Pennywise the Clown is freaky!
I rememeber how my face was glued on the TV even though the movie was scary. I was just disappointed that at the end, he turned out to be a big giant spider.

When I was younger (4 - 5 years old), I remember I got scared by this Hanna-Barbera cartoon. I think it is created and drawn by the same artist that create Scooby Doo. There are a bunch of girls (not Josie and the Pussycat though), and one small little guy that is covered by hair. He came from prehistoric era I believe. There was one episode in which the villain disguised as a mannequin among other mannequins. And her body was stiff but her eyes moved left and right as the gang passed by.
Ultimately, I started getting afraid of mannequin from the age of 4 till about 3rd grade.

Another one that I recall was afraid of are those monkeys in Alice (thru the looking glasses??). They are walking very fast because they are on roller blade. HAHAHA. I am not sure why I was so terrified by them.

I never watched the Exorcist way until college. I was shocked when I saw the girl crawling down the steps like a spider with her back arched.

*Shudder*

Salem's Lot (1979). My brother and I had bunk beds and one of the bedroom windows was right next to me (I had top bunk). There was a scene in Salem's Lot where one of the vampires was scratching at the kid's window (while floating in mid air) asking him to let him in. I remember I would lay in bed facing away from the window fearing if I turned, I would see the vampire. LOL.

The Exorcist.
I saw it by myself, in the house, alone, while my parents were out.
Back In the VHS days.
I don't think I ever recovered.

Robinson Crusoe on Mars. (1964) Saw it in the Theatrical run as a youngster. I have no idea why but it gave me nightmares.

Halloween (1978) I lived in an apt complex with a large grass and tree filled center. I always worried about that pale white face appearing in the darkness. Especially because you could not run away from him-He would show up anywhere in the shadows.

Night of the living dead-A true classic, Made me weary of crowds when seen from afar. would think are they people or those "things?"
