Not sure what the draw was for this movie, the wife and i found the movie boring and a total waste of money, we certainly wont be going to any sequels or related Japanese monster movies.

This kind of response about Godzilla really puzzles me. What were you expecting is my question of them? I enjoyed Godzilla for the story and special effects as it was true to the original and it was exciting. The only thing I didn't like was Brian Cranston dying so early in the film. Otherwise it was very well done. So again I ask what were you expecting?

Obviously i was expecting more than what we got, it was almost 2 hours into the movie before we even saw Godzilla, the fight scenes were rather quick and unexciting, the acting was lame and the storyline even lamer.Thats my opinion of the movie..

You went to see a Godzilla movie for the acting, really? The movie was 2 hours and 11 minutes and Godzilla came in at about the one hour mark, I loved his entrance! To each his own as my son and I found it exciting and a fun ride. Perhaps your expectations were allot higher than mine but I never expect a Godzilla movie to win any acting awards

My kids liked it, the wife and i went with no preconceived ideas about the movie whether it was acting or storyline , we found it boring and wondered what all the fuss was about,.

The "fuss" was about Godzilla! If you are not a big fan then you just went for the kids which I get but it was boring if you don't really follow the Godzilla "cult"

The kids (in their 20s)went by themselves and enjoyed the movie, i went with the wife and didnt know what to expect as i was never into Godzilla in the past so it wasnt as if i went there with preconceived ideas about the movie, as with most movies i go to be entertained most times it works but in this instance it didnt.

I took my oldest son (32) and we both enjoyed it though we realized it is not the best movie out there
