Vote for up to 5. Mine, in no particular order:

Gojira: The original, the classic. An underrated movie ahead of its time, as both a disaster film and an environmentalist one.

Godzilla 1984: Re-captured the feeling of dread and terror of the original, good battle scenes against the Super X.

Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah: My favorite plot of the series

Terror of Mechagodzilla: This was the big guy at his fighting best, winning a two-on-one fight like a boss

Godzilla vs Mothra (The Battle for Earth): Just an all around good one.

I love Godzilla so I prefer the ones when he's the hero. I love the old rubber suits too - how he dances with he does will in a fight. Go, Go, Godzilla!

A couple of months ago, before the new Godzilla came out, I got a Godzilla 8 pack. It has the original version and the Raymond Burr version, as well as 6 other movies. I really enjoyed seeing the Japanese version since I'd never seen it here in the States (It's always been the Raymond Burr one shown on TV).

Destroy All Monsters, King Kong vs. Godzilla, and the Mothra ones are favorites after the original version for me.

- The original. Japanese version has some good footage that was cut from the American version. Both are too notch. Musical score was amazing. I especially like the tracks when the jet fighters attack Godzilla as he is leaving the city and at his ultimate demise.

- King Kong v. Godzilla. Got a little silly at times, but overall very good.

- Godzilla 1985. Some of the attempted comedy (I'm looking at you, dorky Army officer) was bad, but overall a strong film and solid sequel to the original.
