Well, technically, the scene takes place the day before Thanksgiving. However, it is a Thanksgiving film!

Thanks for sharing! I love this scene. I immediately thought of Planes, Trains, and Automobiles when I read the thread title. I watch this film every Thanksgiving and look forward to viewing it again tomorrow. This is my favorite holiday film.

Wood Allen always has Thanksgiving scenes in his movies. Like this one from Broadway Danny Rose:

Also an homage to Carnegie Deli slipped in there.
I think Hannah and her sisters has 3 Thanksgiving dinner scenes in that one.

You wanna hurt me? Go right ahead if it makes you feel any better. I'm an easy target. Yeah, you're right, I talk too much. I also listen too much. I could be a cold-hearted cynic like you... but I don't like to hurt people's feelings. Well, you think what you want about me; I'm not changing. I like... I like me. My wife likes me. My customers like me. Cause I'm the real article. What you see is what you get.

All those Planes, Trains, and Automobiles scenes are pure gold - but the absolute funniest to me is the scene with the pick-up truck driver. "Train don't run out of Wichita, less'n you're a hog or cattle. The people train run out of Stubbville. *snort* *snort*."

Or maybe the "pillows" scene really is the best. Easy 10/10, ****, A+, etc.
