Loved those movies. I'm not sure we'll ever need a food hydrator though. You can rehydrate food now by just adding water. It works on fruits and veggies but I'd doubt it works on meat.

But it isn't self-drying clothes like they were in the film. So that somewhat exists but not to the extent it was in the film.

I love these films I pray they avoid the "we have no good ideas so lets remake the ones that somebody else had" fad that's been going on in Hollywood.

But with the Back to the Future concept you can do the 80's now or you can still travel back further into the past. Sure it won't be the same, but I don't think it would be as bad as others (Miami Vice anyone?)

unfortunately I heard rumors they are planning a remake of Back to the Future starring Justin Bieber as Marty.

Now why would they want to go and ruin an entertaining movie like that? I saw all three of the BTTF trilogy in the theater. I'll save my money if JB is starring.

Gentrification of urban centers. Suburban housing losing their luxury/safety status of the late-20th century.
