Ordinary People (1980). A great movie about a family being torn apart at the seams by their son's tragic death. It was years after my own divorce before I could watch it again. It hit too close to home. Too depressing.
I recently rewatched this and yes, it was still a sad, emotional movie.
And screw IMDB for removing their discussion board.
