I just watched The Big Country (1958) with Gregory Peck, Jean Simmons, Carroll Baker, Charlton Heston and Burl Ives. It's an excellent Western and gets an 'A' from me.
Made by children for younger children. They have warnings about adult content. How about warnings for childish content?

I know it isn't popular to like remakes but this movie had the heart of the original but done for modern audiences and with modern technology. It had nods to the original but in no way copied it too much. This is how sequels and remakes should be made going forward. Takes the base story, changes it but keeps classic elements we would expect from it. Grade: C+, borderline B-
