Goes to show what we know people for.

I have never seen Tremors and am not likely to.....it's not my kind of movie. On the other hand, I saw Timerider when it came out in the theatres. Escape, Southern Comfort, Right Stuff, Uncommon Valor, Swing Shift, Remo Williams, Cast a Deadly Spell (tried to get that flick but its cost is out of sight), Big Business, Chain Reaction, ER, saw all those.

He was a good tough guy in the flick, made a flick worth while.......Gee-ee, how old we are getting.

THANK YOU for mentioning Remo Williams. I love that film, something of a "cult classic" in my mind. It's a quintessential 80's movie, and that's why I love it. It was a simpler time; the good guys were good, the bad guys were bad, and we always cheered for the good guys and jeered at the bad guys. And the character Remo Williams was relatable, unlike certain other characters from 80's films, particularly starring Schwarzenegger or Stalone. Fred Ward was no muscle-bound superman -- he was just some random guy who happened to be in a certain situation, who was recruited to do some good in the world. Love it.

RIP Fred Ward
