Any word on this one? It was reviewed in today's "Sun". Didn't get a particularly good review, but since I was such a big fan of the TV show when I was a kid, I have to check out the movie. I'm really glad that it's set in the 1960's. Really looking forward to seeing the period cars and backgrounds, and hearing "Open channel D." again.

David McCallum is Scottish, and he did a pretty good job as a Ruski for the TV series (and as a Brit for NCIS later).

And Eli Wallach as a Mexican bandito in "The Magnificent Seven" and "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly".

And Charles Bronson as ethnicities other than his own Slavic.

And Vito Scotti as ethnicities other than his own Italian.

And many other actors who portrayed characters other than their own ethnicities.

That's why it's called ACTING.

What accent would a Russian have when speaking English if not a Russian accent?

Hey, at least it's not Tom Cruise trying to play a German officer - speaking in an American English accent. OMG.

Ah yes, the United Network Command for Law Enforcement. I had my U.N.C.L.E. Section II badge, and id card when the tv show was on. Hope the movie doesn't suck too bad, looking forward to it.

Not just a Soviet but a spy.I would expect an accent needed for his target area.

I might see this because of Henry Cavill. I hate action movies in general but the guy is just too hot. #drooling
