A lot of the supposedly obscure movies that have been mentioned are in fact classics, well known to moviegoers. I mean, Harold and Maude? One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (nine Oscars or nominations)?

How about

Sweet November
Charly
David and Lisa

Some forgotten films:

Blow Up (1966)
David Holzman's Diary (1967)--the first "found footage" film
The Knack, and How to Get It (1965)
High School (1968)--a day in the life of high schoolers in the 1960s
Homicidal (1961)--I know this is blasphemy but I think it's actually better than the film it was ripping off

I'm sure there are a few others I'm forgetting (no pun intended).

I took a date to see that when it came out. I remember thinking it was mildly funny.

Mine are:

The Bedford Incident - 1964
Death Race - a little remembered TV movie from 1973
