Definitely an m night shyamalan film, and I enjoyed it. Enough suspense, and creepiness to keep you involved. Although I will say that I basically had it figured out about 50 minutes into the movie (it's 90 minutes long). Not quiet the shocking ending like The Village or Sixth Sense, but definitely a good watch.

Is it also as boring as the rest of his "creepy" movies? He's master of dragging boredom.

Lol, I know he's not everyones cup of tea, but I like his style. It was a no blood/guts creepy movie. If you're looking for people getting slashed and disemboweled, you're going to be disappointed. If you like his movies (like I do, and yes they do drag on in parts, but this one didn't to me), you'll enjoy this one also.

Shyamalan could make a movie that is 2 hours of only beautiful dancing nekked women and I wouldn't go watch it...

I enjoyed the hell out of it and always recommend it. I'm glad I saw it at the theater.

The boy in the movie who kept rapping was annoying. The found footage genre has gotten really old.

I guess we can thank Blair Witch for that (which actually I saw for the first time a year or so ago - I still don't see the big deal). But I think what really really catapulted the first person perspective was Paranormal Activity - after realizing it cost like $15K to make the film and it made millions caused everyone to get on the band wagon. I kind of enjoy them though...

If Donald Trump promised to deport M Nighty I would vote for him.

I found the rapping part annoying also. Why is it that rap seems to be used for comical relief all the time, especially to showcase 'goofy' white characters in movies?

Anyways, as a whole I really liked the movie a lot. I was shocked by the revelation and did not expect it.

To quote the late great Gorilla Monsoon to Bobby "The Brain" Hennan, will you stop? This is a thread in a movie forum, No need to get political.

That said M Night Shyamalan hasn't had the greatest of track records in recent movies. From what I heard, this is not one of those bad movies he has put out. I am on my library's waitlist for it at about 30th out of 48.
