Film with Di Niro, Pitt , Jason Partic.... watched it two nights ago... question and spoiler alert...if you havent seen the movie..
Why near the end when the priest is asked to lie for the young men.. to get both off with murder....that they committed, he does saying they were at a football game with them.... but no one told the men on trial.. now wouldnt they have been questioned too about there whereabouts when the crime was committed, that didnt seem to matter..and why werent the two on trial told what the priest was planning to do to back up his story if they were in fact questioned...... it was all down to the priest, Di Niros evidence and stubbs from the games tickets... ok I know its movieland but this was said to be a true story , can anyone comment please on the film..
