I've read the book and the movie seemed to stay pretty close to it. It's a good story, better than most movies of its kind. As in the book, the first third seems more suspenseful and intriguing the rest of it. Don't expect too much many sci-fi elements, it's more of a horror/thriller. There is some CGI that could be less obvious but still not terrible by any means.

I loved it. Really cool twist on on the zombie angle. The little girl was great. Highly recommend.

I thought it was an incredible movie, and I thought Sennia Nanua was amazing in the lead role.
