I should've known way back when. You know why, David? Because of the kids.

Saw "Split" and I'm not surprised there will be a sequel.

Unbreakable only sold 12% more tickets than Split. While not a boxoffice bomb, it certainly was a disappointment after the unbelievable success of Sixth Sense.

It seems an unlikely film to resurrect after all these years.

Split Domestic Total Est. Tickets: 15,626,300
Unbreakable Domestic Total Est. Tickets: 17,564,800

Split Distributor: Universal Release Date: January 20, 2017
Unbreakable Distributor: Buena Vista Release Date: November 22, 2000

Split Production Budget: $9 million
Unbreakable Production Budget: $75 million

No one expects a follow on film to an unbelievable success to do as well.
