Again, you overlook some critical points, the chief one being that Billy Batson is still Billy Batson in his adult super-powered form. There's no reason for him to act like Doc Savage when he's transformed. Also, that trailer isn't showing us anything at all from the third act of the film — the right move!

Brightburn looks like crap. They've even lifted shots wholesale from Man of Steel. If they want to do a p***-take/homage or whatever, at least try not to look like a tribute band passing itself off as the real thing.

The return engagement kicks off in Los Angeles on March 30 – Batman’s actual 80th anniversary – and will include a Q&A session with Christopher Nolan. The event will take place at the Universal Cinema AMC at CityWalk in Universal City.
