Amazing, looks like some of the flying is actually real and not that CGI crap.

I’ve always liked Tom Cruise movies. If you haven’t seen Collateral, he’s great as a bad guy. I’ll definitely see this one.

I have.. Zero interest in this. I wasn't a huge fan of the original and from what I've seen about who is coming back and who isn't.. This strikes me 100% as "Independence Day 2" all over again.

The one thing I'm curious about.. There have been massive rumors about Val Kilmer and his health, and the last two things that I have seen him in were the final episode of Psych and just recently in Jay and Silent Bob Reboot.. And he either didn't speak, or only had word or two (I don't remember whether he actually said anything in the final Psych)

As soon as the original was released on VHS, I made a tape of the opening music to play in the car - one of the best driving pieces ever. Those first few notes are just chilling....to this day.

This is one of very few today that I will plan on seeing - until I see good reason(s) not to. I'll be (pleasantly) surprised if no such reason(s) crop up. I like that Jennifer Connelly has a role, but I expect it to be Top Gun on SJW/PC steroids.
