I give it 5 out of 5 stars. I've been seeing many great films by female directors. This one is no exception. I don't recall anything significant of the original film of the same name, but this one stands out to me with it's excellent story, and beautifully shot scenes. The way that portions of the film shift from individual stories to a collective coming together was masterfully accomplished - which has been on my mind since seeing this at the theater yesterday midday.
