This is something my husband and I plan to sign up for since we're avid movie goers, usually once a week, sometimes more. If only they had a family subscription option, or a way to include a multi-subscription.

In 'shocking' news today, MoviePass may no longer be offering unlimited movies.

MoviePass Looks Like It's Ditching Its Unlimited-Ticket Option for Good

Quote:
If you’re one of the millions of subscribers who signed up for MoviePass’s virtually unlimited theater subscription service in the last few months, count yourself lucky and use it while you can. As the company’s finances are called into question, MoviePass has switched to a four ticket per month limit, and the company’s CEO has indicated that the old plan may never return for new subscribers.

Looks like they reinstated the unlimited movie deal.

Who knows what's going on, they are still losing money for sure though.

Is the end near for MoviePass?

The parent company, Helios and Matheson Analytics (HMNY), only has about $15.5 million cash on hand, plus another $27.9 million in accounts receivable, according to documents filed Tuesday with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

Unless the movie subscription service can come up with more money, MoviePass might not be around for much longer. The firm said that it burns through about $21.7 million every month operating the service, which charges users $10 a month to see a movie every day.

"They appear to have enough cash to last two months," said Michael Pachter, an analyst for Wedbush Securities. "Sounds like a terrible business model to me, and I can't imagine that any sophisticated investors will view it differently."

Default Movie Pass: Does it work?

Been seeing advertisement about this deal called movie pass, in that you pay 10 bucks a month and get to see a movie a day. Has anyone tried this yet, and is it worth it, or is it a gimmick?

Why should I believe you? You've been negative towards them since their thread started. Makes me wonder if you have something in it if they fail? And I can't take CNN seriously anymore.
