Ever heard of it? Neither did I.
I was leafing through a list of awards, and ran across a European award given to a movie called "The Emperor of California" in the 1930s. That's odd, I thought. So I looked it up.
From Wikipedia: "The Kaiser of California," better known as "The Emperor of California" (German Der Kaiser von Kalifornien), is a 1936 film that has the distinction of being the first western film made in Nazi Germany.

Admit it - you'd never heard of it, right?
