Haven't seen that trailer yet, but Idris is riveting in "Luther" on Netflix where I became a big fan of him. I was hoping they would consider him for the next James Bond.
If Idris is your new crush (and he is one fine looking man, and a fine actor too), then check him out in "Sometimes in April." It's a true story of a family during the Rwanda genocide.
Okay. Like I said, I like them as actors, so that's good to hear.
So there ARE straight women who aren't a fan of them both. My mistake. lol
OK I love me some Idris Elba but have never been particularly attracted to Sam Elliott. Just sayin'.
(Straight woman here.)
I think Idris Elba has a great depth of acting ability. I've seen him play the nice guy, the twisted guy, the brave guy, the bully, the gentleman, the rake, a kind man, a cruel man, and then Luther - wow, I don't even know how to categorize him in that one!
Saw this tonight --only okay. I liked the dog and Ben ( Idris Elba). I felt the beginning was rushed, they started fires easily everywhere they went....scene after scene just seemed kinda unrealistic.

I will watch it when it comes to hbo or showtime . I rarely go to the movies anymore because of the cost , people kicking your chair , chit chat ruffling of bags mainly popcorn and sipping loudly on drink . No thank you .....
Love this movie plan to add it to our collection at some point.
