I saw Papillon tonight. I thought it was really good. I did think that it felt slow in parts -- it's a solid 2 hours -- but there is a lot of action, nonetheless. Hunnam did a great job, and the friendship between Papi and Louis Dega was unexpected and touching.
I would have died on the ship on the way to South America, I think.
Remakes don't bother me too much, especially when they are generations apart. I never saw the first movie, so I can't compare the two.
That's all they are doing. Remakes and comics. Or shows with same plots as hundreds of other shows and 6th sequels
