Ideally, Margot Robbie would be able to play both Harley and Carol. But that's not happening.

Hilarious thread.

Someone asked what was the theme of this movie.

Here it is:

Pay no attention to your critics and detractors. If you want to do it, than do it and ignore the static.

Now think about that, and then think about this thread and ask yourself. DOES MARVEL STUDIOS CARE ABOUT WHAT YOU THINK?

This film was part of the long term Thanos plotline. They waited till now to introduce Captain Marvel because they needed a superhero powerful enough to take out Thanos at the endgame AND NOT BEFORE.

I happen to love the movie. It to me and several others I know have seen it loved it and rank it high in the MCU. I think I put it about where I had Spider-Man Homecoming in third or fourth. I want to see it again and look to do so. I loved the 90's throwbacks but most of the people I have heard great things about it from were all millennials so I'm not sure if that is a correlation.

I don't look too deeply into fight scenes I'm kind of the casual but serious movie critic. Some times I like to shut my brain off and enjoy a film without being super critical but others it is too blatant. Most D.C. movies suffer from this problem IMHO where there is something so bad, you can't help but harp onto it.

Not if they do it right. Metallic purple looks cool. They have to go "full Kirby."
Captain America: Bro No Mo.

I wouldn't even bother with the movie.
Then you would not be in the set of "women who loved the book."

Most Marvel movies have at least one moment or scene like that. You mean you're honestly alright with the retcon of Fury's eye injury?

Variety must be in Disney's pocket.

Fury's eye is the least of this movie's problems.
