I actually liked the last RAMBO flick. Loved? No. And it pales compared to FIRST BLOOD. But all in all it was still a fun movie.
But I would much rather Stallone apply his creativity to something new rather than revisit Rambo. I've always thought Stallone was under-appreciated as a writer. Give us something new, Sly!
I didn't think so, you could tell that most of the blood and guts was CGI that was put in afterward and it looked more fake compared to real squibs and what not.
Seriously I would love to see this be a final wrap for Rambo. They can go further into the character, pick up from where he went home in the last one. What happened when he knocked on the door?
Stallone is about 72, probably not as creative as he once was. Automatic interest in another Rambo edition. Rambo collectors will buy the DVD to complete the set. The odds of turning a profit are exceptional considering that Stallone will write and star. Direct and produce as well? I don't know, not an insider with such knowledge.
Having said all that, I wish him well. This is literally "no country for old men". Such superficial societies are not so keen on spending time and money to watch a 73 year old cavort on the silver screen. Are we the worlds most superficial society? Not sure but pretty certain of Top 10 status.

Schwarzenegger is supposedly still working out and I wonder if he will be in another "The Expendables."
He also hasn't stopped making movies.
No comment on how good they are, but, I somewhat enjoyed some of his later ones.
