Just saw Jumanji2,Next Level.Had a lot of action and was very good, had to be to beat out Frozen2 this weekend.Saw the trailer for the new Ghostbusters:Afterlife. If they had to make another one after the fiasco with leslie Jones and the other women, this one was the way to go.It's a different idea, and kind of reminds me in that sense of the movie The Lost Boys/ You know, the one where these kids cory Feldman and others are having to deal with vampires, only this one is ghosts. But it has to be better than this latest reboot. My brother would like someone to remake A.A.Merrit's Seven Foot Prints to Satan, based on his book. Was made in the 1920s . Seriously think the yentas in Hollywood do sequels all the time because they are lazy, and don't want to fund original films.Only go with what makes the most money. So different from the Hollywood of old which gave us things like The Ten Commandments, Ben Hur, Gone With the Wind, The maltese Falcon, mildred Pierce, etc.

I was intrigued by the trailer.

The fact that they made Egon's granddaughter look like Egon gives me a warm fuzzy feeling that they'll respect the original.

The fact that they've put Rudd into it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling that it will be humorous, if not as over-the-top as the original.

The fact that they original cast (save, of course, Ramis) gives me a warm fuzzy feeling that they may go over the top once or twice.

Yeah, it does have a Stranger Things vibe, not the least because it has the Stranger Things star, but I'm still intrigued.

It's Reitman's son at the helm of the movie. Unless he goes a hard left hand turn and it becomes a Feig comedy, we are in good hands.

OMG I'm so excited about this! It looks fantastic. I like the kid from Stranger Things. I like Paul Rudd. And Annie Potts & Dan Aykroyd are in it too!

This is one of two movies I'm willing to see in theaters this year. Very, very excited.

I was thinking much the same. I would like to see it in an actual theater. Time will tell if that's going to happen.

The movie plot sounds decent, and the trailer is good.

As for this:

Hmm.. I'm admittedly too stubborn to see this movie and had zero interest in the female version a few years ago, as well.

Stop ruining my childhood, Hollyweird!

I look forward to seeing it at my local AMC. They're the best.
