Oh okay. What was it about The Last Stand that was so bad? I remember it being my favorite X-men movie possibly, because I felt that the plot about a cure for mutants, and themes that came with that, was the best idea, the X-men filmmakers had so far, but maybe I need to watch it again.

Well maybe I need to watch it again, but I love how the cure creates the moral dilemma for the X-men characters, and I feel the mutant oppression theme, hasn't been handled better, since the cure. But maybe I need to watch it again.

Be it politics or their favorite fictional universe you have folks seeing themselves as the gatekeepers trying to protect their quasi religious orthodoxy.

I like the tone they're going for here, but I have to say: Some of the special effects look pretty bad.
