Rocky and Rocky II. Both were pretty great films, but I always thought they could have had a better lead actor. He turned into a much better actor with the later films and everything else he did. But that was always my impression. I think its the consensus among lots of fans of the films, whether fans of boxing and sports, or just general movie lovers. But I've never actually heard it said as such as far as I know.

Few people have. It's one of those movies beloved by critics that struggled to find an audience. It's worth checking out if you ever run across it.

I've only seen three or four of his movies and he's okay IMO but he really shone in Moonstruck. I loved him & Cher together. I've watched it probably a dozen times.

Well, for that matter, casting that chubby Hispanic girl as the other lead, supposedly an American aristocrat, with her brown eyes that magically turn blue when she's played as an elderly woman later one...

Just no.

I agree with a previous poster; that is, John Wayne as Genghis Khan. And there is Mickey Rooney as Mr. Yunioshi. And anything with Hayden Christensen.

I like Nicholas Cage.

It seems like every movie with Richard Dreyfuss (after American Graffiti) or Julia Roberts is terrible. They're actually good actors, but they or their agents seem to pick one stinker after another.

Same thing for his portrayal of the title role in "Norwood" (which was the first novel by the author of "True Grit", Charles Portis).
