Advertisements

Two come immediately to my mind:

Vivien Leigh as Scarlett O'Hara
Claire Danes as Juliet (with Leo DiCaprio as Romeo)

And please remember that all posts will be just opinion!

I love this!

Russel Crowe in any part, but especially in A Beautiful Mind

Nicole Kidman in anything with an American accent (you can still here a hint of Aussie, though I do think she is a good actress)

Kevin Costner as Batman (I know I will get flack for that one)

And my big winner is: Jennifer Grey in Dirty Dancing. UGH! I did not like the movie at all, but especially her in the lead

I loved Russell Crowe in almost everything he ever did (especially 3:10 to Yuma, Gladiator, A Good Year, and The Insider), but I cannot even IMAGINE Kevin Costner as Batman! (Really???!!) I am indifferent to Kidman, and I think I am one of the few who truly disliked the writing and acting of Dirty Dancing, generally speaking, although I didn't think Gray was as bad as the other main characters. (In fact, the entire movie made me go UGH except for the music.)

But I hope that all the posts on this thread will be as interesting as yours! Good job, and thanks for posting!!

I don't think that Kate Bosworth was a good choice to play Lois Lane in the 2006 movie Superman Returns.

Anything with Nicholas Cage, but especially Moonstruck.

Most recently, Valerian and the City of 1000 Planets. Other than Clive Owen (and Rutger Hauer's brief cameo), everyone was terrible, and ruined what could have been a successful space opera.
