Never even heard of this movie. A sleeper Indie hit last year that somehow never even pinged by radar. But they played it on the ferry yesterday, and I watched. Surprisingly good movie. It is the same basic story concept as HUCKLEBERRY FINN, but with modern characters and situations.

Anyway, next time you're in the mood for a feel good semi-tearjerker, check it out.

One of my favorite films from last year. Saw it at the fab Los Feliz 3 in Los Feliz; great theater and they tend to show "off beat" films.
