I'm honestly not sure if LITTLE BIG MAN is really a comedy. It's gut-wrenching in places. But it is also really, really hilarious in parts, almost to the point of satire. Richard Mulligan is hilarious as General Custer.

Yeah.. after you posted it I went and looked on IMDB and read the quotes, lol. I really didn't remember some of those. I do remember the gut wrenching scenes.
And yes.. I've seen Josey about 12 times. Lotta good lines in that one too. My only prob with that movie is I am def not a fan of Sondra. But Clint & The Chief make it excellent!
I think I quote some of Chief Dan George's lines from just about every movie I've seen him in. Loved watching that guy.
How can you not adore a movie in which both Clint Eastwood and Lee Marvin sing?
