I suppose this is more about the dancing than the music, but it's probably what got me hooked on musicals. (and ditto to the the Amadeus scene being fantastic!)

...it is the aftermath of the event. The girl has been quietly reflecting upon everything that has happened in the last few days. She has already sat in church while the pastor also talked about it. She wanders around alone thinking about everything, and is reciting a poem in her head that she has apparently just written. All the while this strange and sad music overpowers the images.
I'd have to say: the late Alan Rickman and Johnny Depp at the absolute top of their respective games in "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street." Incredible film...
That was a great one. Also great was the scene just before the club shootout where the Coyotes cross Max and Vincent's path and they both stare at them contemplatively while Audioslave's Shadow on the Sun is playing.
