Really enjoyed it up until Act 3. Acts 1 and 2: Great. Act 3: Okay. It doesn't ruin the movie by any means, but the main anti-heroine of the story suddenly becomes an Evil Mary Sue. She pulls things off that don't just stretch but utterly tear all plausibility.

Still, it's a fun black comedy.

And wow. Peter Dinklage can grow a truly magnificent beard.

I Care a Lot:

A woman legal guardian with a perfect bob steals the assets of the elderly victims she takes care of. Unfortunately for her, she picks a victim who has connections to the Russian Mafia, none of whom have even the slightest hint of a Russian accent.

I enjoyed the first part, although it requires some suspension of disbelieve to accept how easily it is to become a legal guardian. However, the story soon becomes totally unrealistic and unbelievable – by the end, just plain silly.

I don't recommend it.

The Russian mafia has been in the US long enough now that there are third and fourth generation members. They have no more of a Russian accent than I do.

Yup.

Yup. You're not wrong. Act 3 is completely unrealistic. But to me, this was a black comedy, not a drama or a thriller. I was able to suspend my disbelief enough. I didn't enjoy Act 3 as much, but it didn't entirely spoil the movie for me.

And come on. How can you not be awestruck by that beard?

You guys know this movie is based on reality, right? The end, where they make a deal to go corporate, made my blood run cold, because I can see it.
