as was cleared up in the end, the "city of gold" was actually a "city of treasure", the treasure of knowledge.
now the russian girl at the beggining predicted unlimited psycic capabilites to those who possess it and what seemed like unlimited knowledge..
wo WTF happened at the end??? everyone was consumed in this giant wormhole like thing, and she was destroyed by the knowledge?? does this mean no human can possess it??
also, the movie makers made a key error yet again. you never put stuff in unless its relevant! so waht was the point in insinuiating the russian chick has psycic abilities... cause its obvious she didnt. she did this dumb 10 second attempt on Indie, then said somethign cheesy like "oh your too strong.."
whwat was the point of that? they could have just as easily left that out just like so much other crap.
unfortunately like many movies made nowadays (with some exceptions like the dark knight and iron man) it left you unsatisfied and hungry for something more. maybe a plot?? i dunno.
overall another piece of new age hollywood crap with cheap thrills and action that never goes over pg-13
they also brought back taht annoying character form temple of doom.. its not the same actress believe it or not.. or at least on imdb the same actress wasnt credited.. anyways a crappy movie
