It was about twelve years ago when I saw this movie and I can hardly remember anything, but it has been driving me crazy trying to figure out the title.
This is what I remember;
There is a young boy who gets into an argument with his family and runs away. He ends up falling in a hole and when he wakes up he tries to go back home. When he gets to his house and family, there are new people living in it, and time has passed. I also remember that at the end or towards the end he is sitting in a boat looking at the stars.
