I like all kinds of documentaries.
Recently been enjoying the Monarchy.

Monarchy: The Royal Family at Work | PBS
The Royal family has always intrigued me.

Also like biographies of rock bands and musicians, phases of music ect.

I found that film very moving.
I have seen and enjoyed (well, I don't know if you can enjoy Jesus Camp) many of the aforementioned films.
I watch When We Were Kings once a year--it is superb.
One doc that is rather scary and depressing but very well made:
No End In Sight
A comprehensive look at the Bush Administration's conduct of the Iraq war and its occupation of the country
