Saw Not Easily Broken last night - it was decent. Jennifer Lewis annoys me to no end and I wish they would stop casting her- but the storyline was okay. I'm surprised this actually went to the theaters, it seems more like a straight to DVD kind of movie but I'm sure that had to do with TD Jakes.

I want to see Old Dogs with Robin Williams and John Travolta. I wish Jamie Foxx wasn't in The Soloist because I really want to see it, but I can't stand Foxx.

Definitely, definitely seeing Madea goes to Jail.

Last Chance Harvey looks good, too.

We'll see what 2009 brings.

PUBLIC ENEMIES with Johnny Depp as Dillinger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was filmed at the exact locations of Dillingers escapades. One location in particular is Little Bohemia, a resort on a beautiful lake in Northern Wisconsin. He escaped out the back under a hail of machine gun fire and fled away in a boat across the lake. Little Bohemia is still the same and they have the original bullet holes still there on display. Its fun having dinner there.

I went to the movies last weekend and I was pretty disappointed in the previews. It looks like 2009 is going to be the year of sequels (or trilogies) and big screen adaptations. The G.I Joe trailer did look mildly interesting, even though I never watched the cartoon Ironman and Transformers make me want to give it a shot but when i saw the trailer for Land Of The Lost I couldn't believe it. From what I remember the television show wasn't even that popular.

I miss original movies.

Sequels and trilogies generally suit me fine--not 'G.I. Joe' and Transformers but 'others'.

2008 seems have been a pretty good year. <shrug> One well done film works for me. If there are 2, 3 or 4 --that's good.
