The first Final Destination is a very underrated movie. I thought it was very unique and well done. The other two are okay but they cant touch the first one.

On the 2nd dvd of Final destination 3 (bonus dvd) you can see how the scenes were made incl the 2 teen girls in the tanning booth. The scene was filmed on a closed set due to nudity.Great 70.s song played at the beginning of the scene.Love Rollercoaster by the Ohio Players.

The first one had a great premise and lucked out by having up and coming young actors at the time (Ali Larter, Devon Sawa). It also marked the beginning of the trend where if you're monologuing (thanks The Incredibles), look out for buses and sharks coming out of nowhere and killing you. The second was just a rehash of the first, and didn't really get interesting till 3/4ths in when the connection to the first movie was revealed. I heard the writers had to fight to keep that in the movie. It also had the most graphic car accident ever. I will NEVER get behind a truck carrying logs! The third was garbage. I haven't read the books, but I've read their plots on Wikipedia and some of them sound pretty interesting.

Yea the second film lagged a lot - although I love the cameo from Candyman I know thats not his real name but that guy gives me the creeps. I feel the same way about trucks - any trucks carrying anything i switch lanes and get past it as soon as i can.
