I was surprised the Gran Tarino was completely snubbed. Also, surprised at Leonardo not getting a nod for his Revolutionary Road work.
Very surprised "The Reader" is up for best picture. It is a great movie, but in my opinion not worthy of "Best Picture" of the year. Kate Winslet's performance in this film is superb though. The race for best actress should be between her and Meryl Streep.

Because the Oscar voting is so industry based, I predict they'll give best actor to Pitt or Penn, even though Rourke gave an amazing performance. He's just too much of an outcast.
