Oh please--do not tell me that 'The Apartment' has been remade 12 times. Insane.

Crash has got to be one of the most unoriginal and worst movie that I have ever seen. Total garbage.

All Hugh Grant movies
All Rupert Everett movies
All Baz Lerhman movies
All Period piece romance movies (Pride and Predjudice, Sense and Sensibility, etc.) and all where actors speak with English accents
Runaway Bride

The title is bad movies, not actors you hate

Thought it would be easier to list them by actors instead of listing out all the movies I seen by them that I hated.

Every movie they were in, it just so happens that I hated it.

Fair enough, thought you might be on an anti-this or that actor rant. (which I have done as well)

"Tommy" has to be the worst for me , I actually wanted to throw something at the TV.

Then there was the Russian "The Ark" ( in Russian with subtitles) , so bad that I left 1/2 way through and 90% of the audience followed , ending with hysterical laugher in the cinema lobby... Beautifully shot and still just about the dullest and most pretentious movie ever made.

I tend to be fairly careful in what I chose to watch so thankfully I have managed to avoid most atrocities perpetrated against the cinema but things like "Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skulls " , "Sweeney Todd" , "Venus", "The Devil wears Prada", of recent memory , etc.. are unforgivable in my opinion because of the budget involved and some of the acting talents too.

I was forced to watch certain movies by a boyfriend in my younger days which left my blood curdling in my veins . Anything with Arnie in it ( "Conan the Barbarian" still haunts me to this day and let's not even go into "Terminator"!) , "Red Sonja" , Jingoistic rubbish like "Black Hawk Down" , movies like "Cocktail", "Top Gun", I remember one in the 80s about some teenage boy who has to rescue his father from Arab terrorists by stealing a US AF helicopter or something like that ( can't remember the title but boy did it suck !)

Anything which is made for teenage boys usually does not do it for me. Mind you those made for teenage girls also leave me rather underwhelmed too....

And I am sure this will upset many devoted fans but "Lords of the Ring" was awful. We watched it with a 16 year old neighbour and it cost me dearly not to walk out. Anything which goes into special effects over-drive leaves me completely cold.

I hope I'm getting better at not actually seeing "worst" movies but I have to go with these I have seen in the movie theater:

1. The Contender (I wanted a shower after this big lib preachy bomb)
2. Swing Vote (another PC preachy movie and and it's even worse when the kid is doing the preaching and playing the grown up. Walked out of this one.)
3. Paycheck (I think they made it up as they went along - seriously - that and the Uma Thurman/John Woo factor)
4. Mission Impossible 2 (and I really liked the other MI ones - there should be a ban on John Woo waaaaaay prolonged dance fighting - UGH)
5. Spanglish - (not one single likable/redeemable character in the entire movie - just say "no" to movies with neurotic California characters and the undeserving sainted maid or nanny that always shows up in them)
6. Annie Hall - What in God's name did people like about this movie?
7. Shakespeare In Love - What in God's name did people like about this movie?

There are other movies that were boring or stupid but the ones above stand out because they made me angry when I left the movie theater.
