The summer blockbuster season officially starts tomorrow with X-men Origins: Wolverine. Just in May, every week, there will be a big time blockbuster opening.
The biggest of all the movies this time around should be Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
I don't know how good they will be, but I will be there for every single one of them.

Here's the "Big Boy" list:

----------------------------

- X-men Origins: Wolverine (May 1) / Buzz: Reshot over and over, has already been seen by some.... but that wasn't the finnished product

- Star Trek (May 8) / Buzz: the orgins of the original Star Trek crew.... should make Trekkies happy.

- Angels & Demons (May 15) / Buzz: sequal to the much popular The Da Vinci Code.

- Terminator: Salvation (May 21) / Buzz: the first prequel of the Terminator series... also, star Christian Bale and his infamous b*tch out.

- Up (May 29) / Buzz: the latest Pixar film, has big shoes to fill.

- Land of the Lost (June 5) / Buzz: little, but stars Will Ferrel in this remake of the 70's (and probably 90's) tv show.

- Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (June 24) / Buzz: the sequal to the box office smashing 1st Tranformers, Megatron comes back, more Autobots/Decepticons and Constructicons are added.

- Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (July 1) / Buzz: (little) The question of ".... how exactly do the Prehistoric mamals cross paths with Dinosaurs?"

- Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (July 15) / Buzz: the 6th instalment of the Harry Potter series.

- G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra (August 7) / Buzz: following Transformers, it is another live action movie based from 1980's toys/cartoon

I chose Angels and Demons because I really enjoyed the Davinci Code (sp?) and Tom Hanks is a pretty decen actor.

If I could have chosen more than one, I would have also included UP and Ice Age 3.

Definitely planning to see STAR TREK and UP in the theater. I'll probably catch WOLVERINE and LAND OF THE LOST on video.

Don't really care about the rest at all.

Voted Star Trek. I've been looking forward to this since...well, I'm always looking forward to Trek.

Saw Wolverine. It was decent.

I just saw the X-Men Wolverine Origins movie and I thought it was decent, not bad but not good either. I base it off of comic book accuracy and I think Marvel messed up almost all of the ending though. S. Summers was a G though.

*spoiler alert!*

I liked X-mO:W.... and really, the only thing I hated was the ending.

I LOVE Deadpool and I hated how they made him into a monster and the eventual main villian.

Looking foward to Terminator and Star Trek. Curious about Land of the Lost since I used to watch the cheesy show when I was a little kid - I can still sing the entire song.

I loved land of the lost as a kid so i probably won't see the movie - my favorite kid shows have been disappointing on the big screen thus far - scooby doo, inspector gadget, get smart, etc.

I know I'll check out Harry Potter but I don't know about the rest of them.
