Just watched Mad Max Fury Road. I thought it was awful. Really disappointed.

Yeah, I was disappointed with it too. The only thing I like about it was the vehicles.

I didn't mind the 2nd one. I plan on watching it again sometime in the near future

I highly recommend this terrific Indian movie about three women living the patriarchal (and farcical) rural India. I don't normally like chick movies but this is beautifully shot, the acting is superb, the characters had depth and nuance, and the film keeps you intimately involved.
9/10 stars!!
I just added it to the queue. Sounds good, thanks!

Hardcore Henry.............what utter junk.

And as a close and very stinky runner-up....Demolition, starring Jake Gyllenhaal......good actor, dreadful writing.

Beatles- 8 days a week- the touring years 1962-66 from Ron Howard

Excellent, 5 stars from me. I grew up a bigger fan of the Stones and the Who but I liked the Beatles. But this story was very well done. They weren't an overnight success and then they exploded and all of the pressures that came with that.

A must watch IMO but try to do so at the theater if you can. The Beatles concert from Shea Stadium follows but only in the Theater and that is outstanding too. Maybe the best part.
