Netflix original To the Bone
About a young woman with anorexia. Well done, well cast (although sometimes I wonder about Keneau Reeves, he has such a clunky way of speaking).
This is probably the third? movie I've seen done about anorexia. This one I believe was written by someone who had it. They tend to be done in the same quiet feel for some reason. And what is it about anorxia that gets so many movies but obesity doesn't?
Anyway, it kept me interested. I'm not sorry I watched it and would recommend it for someone who likes to understand more about life's problems that aren't their own.
Horror Hotel aka The City of the Dead (1960). Surprisingly, well acted and creepy, with some neat satanic touches in the scenery. (Baphomet skull wall decoration, anyone?) Also surprising for what the co-ed was wearing under her prim and proper Peter Pan collared blouse and skirt.
I don't watch movies often but the last one I watched was "The Letter" with Bette Davis. It was an oldie of course.
thank you!
